The City of Cotati is a vibrant community of approximately 7,500 residents, with the distinction of being the smallest incorporated city in Sonoma County. As the City worked to update its Sixth Cycle Housing Element they hired Civic Edge to gather actionable feedback from their diverse residents and stakeholders. The challenge of creating meaningful engagements within a cost-effective strategy that aligned with the city’s size and budget led to creative solutions like tabling at one of the city’s first post-Covid community events and a unique outreach partnership with neighboring city, Rohnert Park.
